If you’ve been in the store lately, you might have caught us shuffling the yarn around again, and moving the furniture to boot! We had to make space for the crazy deliveries of winter yarns that are starting to come in, so we moved the “knitter’s companion”/”purse holder” couch to the back and the table to the front. Now we have a sweet clubhouse back there with the needle selection, and room to sit and knit in the window! And, lots more room for YARN.

Also in: Cascade Eco and Eco+! This 100% aran weight wool is amazing for sweaters (I have two), and has a boat load of yardage on each skein: 250g = almost 500 yards). It comes in gorgeous naturals, as well as saturated and heathered colors, so you basically can’t go wrong.
If you need a project and it has to be done TODAY, head for the Cascade Magnum. Also 250g, these skeins are a super bulky wool that have 123 yards per skein. But 123 yards is all you’ll need, and you’ll be finished by the time you get home.

The shop looks great. Unfortunately I have not been in the new building.My concern is for parking.

Paulette, we’d love to see you at the new store! The parking at this end of the Avenue is a little tighter than it was before, but there are meters on the street on both sides, and free parking around the corner by Roosevelt park.
